• 1 Fairtrade Banana
• 1 Fairtrade Coconut
• 1 Fairtrade Vanilla Pod
• Half a pot of Fairtrade Greek Style Yoghurt (available in Co-Op stores)
• 2 Handfuls of ice

You may want to use frozen yoghurt and scrap the ice cubes???

Peel the banana, carve the flesh of the coconut out (keep the milk). Slit vanilla pod length-ways and scrape out the seeds. Put all ingredients into smoothie maker (including flesh and milk of coconut), put ice in last- and guess what, your on a lovely tropical beach- nice!

• 1 Fairtrade Vanilla Pod
• 3 Fairtrade Bananas
• 2 or 3 handfuls of ice
• 2 pots of Fairtrade greek style yoghurt, from co-op
• 4 teaspoons of fairtrade sugar dissolved in a small amount of water

Slit vanilla pod lengthways and scrape out seeds, add bananas to smoothie maker follwed by yoghurt, sugar/water, vanilla seeds and then the ice. This is far better than any milkshke made with vanilla extract or essence etc. Fairtrade bananas and vanilla pods are top quality.

For this fairtrade ginger and vanilla smoothie you will need:

• 2 Fairtrade bananas
• 2 tbs Fairtrade vanilla extract
• 2 tsp Ginger spice blend
• 250 ml Yoghurt
• 250ml Milk
• Handful of Ice cubes

As usual put all the ingredients in the smoothie maker and blend until you have reached smoothie consistency
