This smoothie takes its name from the latin name for its most prominent ingredient – ginger! This smoothie is tangy and refreshing yet warming and vitalising!
You will need
- Half a small pineapple
- 1 Large orange or 200ml orange juice
- 2 teaspoons of fresh grated ginger (or paste or powder – fresh is best!)
- 12 or so ice cubes
What do I do with said ingredients?
Place ice in the smoothie maker followed by the ginger and then the pineapple and orange (take a moment to reflect on how sluggish you feel). Hit smooth, wait 20 seconds, press stop, pour, garnish with mint, drink (take a moment to reflect on how awake, fresh and full of life you feel!).
