Pecan Pie Smoothie
Pecan pie is such a unique and yummy dessert! Instead of sugar and corn syrup though, this recipe just uses dates for sweetness! With the flavorful pecans and the sticky sweetness of the dates, you won’t miss pecan pie.
To make this smoothie, you will need:
-1 cup of 1% milk
-1/4 cup pecan halves
-1/4 small banana
-2 pitted, naturally dried dates (chopped up into small pieces)
-1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Coarsely chop the dates and add them to the blender with the pecans and the 1/4 banana. Blending these ingredients together will make sure that they get blended down into tiny pieces, but the pecans will keep the dates from getting too sticky in the blender. Add the milk and vanilla and blend until everything is well incorporated and smooth.
