Everything about merging Tom Ka Gai soup and a Smoothie sounds wrong… … but you really want to – don’t you? Don’t worry there is no boiled galangal in here, we’re just going to borrow some of the other main ingredients to make a hot and sour coconutty concoction!

Instructions

  1. Add coconut products to smoothie maker along with the banana.
  2. Squeeze the lime juice into the smoothie maker (watch out for the pips).
  3. SMOOTH!!!
  4. Add chilli and cinnamon to taste (take it easy at first)
  5. SMOOTH!!!
  6. Pour into a short glass
  7. Add decorative chilli or cinnamon – or why not shave some lemongrass onto the top?

This smoothie is a good compliment to a desert after a Thai meal or to go with anything spicy as it will cool your taste buds despite the chilli!
